Osaka Station

The Osaka station area is probably one of the most jam packed areas of the city, right alongside Dotonburi. Because of the many transfer stations, tons of people were stopping, coming or passing by this station. Osaka station itself is a huge structure and it is almost impossible to miss upon if you pass by this area.

The station is connected by two or three department stores, so there is a constant wave of people moving in between, because the station is the bridge between those stores. The station itself doesn't actually have very much to see and do, but if you have plans to go shopping this area is a great place to do it.

When I was there, there was a volleyball tournament of some kind so the large stair area had become a makeshift seating area. I didn't stay to watch the volley ball game because in the distant background was my next destination, the Umeda Sky Building.
