Grace

I went to watch "The Nutcracker" this past Christmas with my grandmother. This was the first time I had ever gone to watch a ballet and to my surprise I really enjoyed it. The dancers were very graceful and athletically gifted. I was a little taken back by the tighty wightys but one gets adjusted very quickly. Especially when they are jumping into the air with equal grace as a professional basketball player. I really wanted to express this graceful energy so I went online an found this image. This image lacks a lot of life because the image was not mine, thank you google, but I still liked the outcome. I kept it simple, especially with the toning. I didn't want to get too crazy with this piece.
