I Really Tried

This was the piece that I was just about giving up on. I enjoy painting and I had some fun with this piece, but in the end digital painting is just not a very reliable medium, in my opinion. It is very convenient and it allow for fast paced color arrangements, but nothing feels very solid. Still, the results were alright. I had more fun working on the background than the actual illustration in the foreground. I'm going to stick to using photoshop for post production work. I do give credit to photoshop though because I've been getting a lot of painting and color practice. It's very difficult to find space to paint when you are living in the city.
