Megaman 2 Boxart

More ridiculously awesome(?) Megaman box art. The one on top at least gave Megaman a built on blaster cannon, but the one below still retains a blaster pistol. Did the artists actually play the game?? This pixel below does not elude to any pistol whatsoever! 

At least the box art below somewhat stays true to the color coordination. Is that Flash man on the top left? Does he have an eye patch??? 

I have a lot more questions to ask but I'd like to leave it at that. The box art speaks of its time period and trend and I appreciate its existence, for without it I would not have any reliable sources that could prompt my memory and the nostalgia within.
