Prague Sketchbook - The Miner

This image will be the last post for the Prague Sketchbook series. It was good fun posting these pieces because it allowed me to get into a retrospective mode and it really brought back some memories from way back. 

The image bellow looks like there is some kind of miner who is trying to navigate himself around a mine. It's a highly stylized figure who has a very stumpy design. The most interesting aspect of this drawing, to me, is the back ground. The details on the planks of wood and the stone objects offer a somewhat realistic implication to this world. Whatever this miner is looking for lets hope he finds something good. Maybe he will discover a new type of material unknown to mankind!
