Mighty No.9
"Mighty No.9" is a new platformer (2D side scrolling game term) created and directed by Keiji Inafune. Keiji Inafune is a video game producer and illustrator. He was the former head of Reseach and development as well as online business and global head of production in Capcom. (Capcom is a famous Japanese game company know for such titles as Megaman, Street Fighter, Resident Evil and much more.) He was also the producer for "Onimusha" and the "Dead Rising" series. Keiji Inafune now has his own company, Comcept USA, this is the company that is going to be developing "Mighty No.9".

Below are some of the designs that I found on the net. Don't you guys just love the internet? You can find anything from around the world in just seconds!
This guy reminds me of "Gyroman" from "Megaman 5", but this design is much more streamlined and feels like it may actually transform into a helicopter of some sort. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't get an cues from the "Valkerie VF" mechs.

According to the video, this character called Beck can transform into various articles. This design sheet seems to reference it. It kind of reminds me of these toys that I used to play with that had magnetic attachments. You could place his limbs in awkward places and create absolute monsters.
"Fireman"
This must be the water based boss of the series.
"Aquaman" from "Megaman 8". "Megaman 8" was one of my favorites from the "Megaman" series. I thought the visuals in Megaman 8 was the pinnacle of the Megaman series, excluding the X series.
"Bubbleman" from "Megaman 2". "Megaman 2" is an absolute classic. It really had an awesome soundtrack. One of the best 8 bit soundtracks out there in the upbeat electronic department, in my opinion.
This dude reminds me of "Napalm man".
"Napalm man" from "Megaman 5".
"Beck"
"Beck's" Interior design.
Various splash pages of robot master designs.
Below are some references for those who are not yet familiar with "Capcom" or Keiji Inafune and his work.
"Capcom" company Logo. I saw this logo all throughout my gaming life.
Keiji Inafune. Without his input there may have never been the legend called Megaman. Megaman was called Rockman in the Asian regions. I used to know him as only Rockman until I found the internet.
This is the original blue bomber from the 8-bit gaming era.
Street fighter 2. A gaming revolution that pretty much single handedly created a gaming cult of fighting game fans.
Onimusha had the spiritual feeling of Resident Evil but there was more skill involved compared to Resident Evil which required more patience and thought.
Resident Evil was a very popular horror title back in its days. It still is deemed as one of the better horror titles that seem to grab peoples attention whenever the title is involved.
