Awesome Banana Sculptures

I cam across this amazing sculptor who uses bananas as his medium. The type of sculptures that he makes is of pop culture articles but there are some genuinely fancy, shmancy, artsy stuff as well. His name is Keisuke Yamada, but if you search this name up in you tube you will be sent to another wiki link about a Japanese wrestler called Black Buffalo. Black Buffalo, I care not. If you type in his name or just "banana sculptures" on google, you will get a variety of images based on the artists banana art.

This was the image that I found on crunchy roll. A bunch of artists in Japan posted images celebrating "Pocky Day" which is a shameless merchandising plot that makes people buy "Pocky", a Japanese snack. Korea has their own brand of Pocky's called "Pepero" and guess what? Korea has their own shameless merchandising day called "Pepero day". Oh lord!!!

(BTW I don't know exactly what Pocky day is like in Japan but Pepero day in Korea is close to being a valentines day type event. We also have a thing called "White day".)
