Kwai Fung Mural

Last year, sometime around October/November I took up a part time job as a mural painter for a Hong Kong artist by the name of Stanley Wong. He is a great guy and awesome artist, but what was most amazing was his work ethic. To be an artist working in Hong Kong is like being a piece of healthy organic alfalfa sandwich in between the hostile Mcdonalds menu. I admit my analogy of Stanley as an artist in Hong Kong sucks but it is truly a difficult task being anything creative in Hong Kong. Hong Kong is a very dynamic city encompassing all the traits of what a great city is, but the only vice is that it really lacks in the creativity department. If there is no gain in profit then there is no point in starting it.
