Seoul Comic Con 2017

Apparently, this was the first Comic Con in Seoul so I wasn't expecting much out of it. I've been to a few of these nerdy conventions and most of them had been a blast. This one though, considering it had a popular title, was thoroughly disappointing. It was expensive, and there were lines even though you purchased tickets in advanced. (The first thirty minutes or so were punctuated by lines, but it was not a crazy long wait like what you see with the conventions that happen around the world.) The main issue was that there were not enough content. Even for the art conventions that cost around half of what I had paid for, have enough content where one would have to stay around for at least 3 hours or so. The materials that they had here would not have lasted you even an hour. That's how small it was, considering it was supposed to be a big event.

Still, it was better than nothing. I had fun capturing the vibe of what it's like to be dedicated to your interests. Hopefully, in the near future the event will evolve into something much larger with more categories to offer.
